Her professional journey began in 1993 when she entered the realm of professional sales as an Account Executive, selling dental supplies and services to dentists in the North County Coastal and Downtown areas.

    In 1998, an exciting opportunity presented itself as Deborah was enticed away from the Dental Sales arena to assist in the establishment of the Mission Valley Chamber of Commerce. She also played a crucial role in developing the advertising department of a community newspaper called the Mission Valley Voice. Although her time in these endeavors was relatively brief, Deborah reflects on the experience as a valuable period of personal and professional growth.

    Deborah’s entry into the world of real estate occurred in 1999 when she joined a small destination relocation company as the Vice President of Corporate Development. Her responsibilities revolved around securing contracts for recruitment and relocation services with corporations specializing in the Biotech and Telecommunications industries. This role proved pivotal in shaping her real estate career, as it involved relocating high-level executives, scientists, and engineers to the vibrant community of San Diego. Deborah’s expertise encompassed assisting individuals in finding suitable homes and helping them adapt to their new surroundings—a precursor to her present-day endeavors.

    With a move to Julian in 2003 and a foray into Julian real estate sales in late 2004, Deborah’s achievements have been remarkable. Over the years, she has facilitated transactions exceeding $30 million in total, with an impressive average sales volume of $4.4 million per year. However, beyond the numbers, Deborah has earned a reputation as an exceptional agent renowned for her skill and expertise. Her genuine passion lies in fostering strong relationships, both on a professional and personal level, which she considers the most rewarding aspect of her real estate sales career.

    Presently, Deborah resides on Farmer Road, located north of Julian Township, in a charming 1945 ranch home situated on a 45-acre parcel, once part of an illustrious Julian ranch. While she grew up in San Diego, she continues to maintain a condominium on Bayside Walk in Mission Beach. Deborah has been happily married to Steve Kerch of Kerch & Associates, Inc., a prominent real estate investment company, since 1985.
